I have found many automotive GPS systems for laptops, and have found aviation GPS systems for PDAs, but none for laptops so far. I was wondering if such a thing exists....

something I could use in conjunction with Chart Case Electronic Flight Bag, or one of the other EFBs.

Well, it's not a renound airstrip, but one I've used near the Caspian Sea, is lower.
Question being, where could you set your altimeter at it's lowest before heading off ?

Is it true that the wrong pitch trim setting (for cruise angle-of-attack) can cost you a lot of fuel and time if you dont set it right?
I've been trying to fly my Learjet-45 from Lagos,Nigeria to Khartoum, Sudan in 3-hours...but it keeps taking me longer (4+hours). I've even tried setting my pitch for an AoA of 2-degrees. I think anything less than that is asking for trouble (inabiltiy for auto-alititude to "hold" properly).

In Airbus models they are referred to as "steering tillers" with handles called "boss". Where are they/what do they look like in Boeing airplanes as other brands?

It seems that the possibilty of an aircraft that is soley controlled by a computer (computer system) is very possible. There are already Unmanned Aerial Vehicles flying in the military. Catagory III aircraft have auto-land, which enables the aircraft to land in zero visibility (obviously at Cat III certified runways). Autopilot flies preprogrammed flight paths and approaches. What problems to do you see in this? Would you fly in a piloted-computer controlled aircraft in the future? Something to think about: more than 70% of aircraft accidents occure due to pilot error and not mechanical failure.

I want speed and a large useful load (like everyone.) This is obviously a first purchase. My maximum budget is around 60 or 70K. I prefer a low wing to a high wing. Any suggestions on a make or model in this price range would be helpful.

Also, I don't know about overhaul time, ie, a good amount of time since an overhaul. What is the average amount of hours a plane can fly without being overhauled? How many hours will an airplane last (airframe and total time?)

Any other tips on what I should look for when shopping would be very helpful too.

I know I'm pressing my luck asking another question but here it goes. I hold a PPL with about 120hrs. Are there certain restrictions on the type of aircraft I can fly such as high performace, complex? If so, what do I need to do to be able to fly one. Do I just need a checkout?

Who was it whom suggested that was a good position to use considering that in most air accidents, due to the speed of the aircraft Passengers can become "missiles" within the aircraft. Why not have "airbags" on the back of all the seats instead if it is considered that there is a chance of survival for example an aircraft putting down at sea.

OK, I uderstand the basic principles of wing lift. but ...
When flying inverted how do I get a similar lift factor ?
I like "upside-down", but having asked the question, I get different answers. Is their a definitive one in terms of wing design.
I hear that Concorde was capable of inverted flight. How so ?
There must be a simple answer.
