Sure-fire methods to avoid bombing / hijacking. And also: what do you think about personal baggage restrictions?

I was thinking of drugging the passengers to sleep. Yet again drugs don't have the same effect on everyone, and there are often antidotes and side-effects.
And try sending luggage on separate planes.

Truthfully, there are none. And it's not needed anyway. The statistical chances of being involved in such an incident can't even be reliably calculated but are well below 1:10,000,000.

Baggage restrictions are counter-productive to the industry. For example, if I can't take my laptop with me, I might just as well stay at home as I won't be able to work when I get to my destination.

All carry-on baggage should be placed in overhead bins that are locked by the crew. All seats should be equipped with those automatic hydraulic restraining bars (such as on roller coasters). If you need to go to the restroom, an armed air marshall will walk you to and from the lavatory. Sound fun?

I really don't think that there are any 100% sure-fire methods; worse case scenerio, someone could try taking a hostage with a sharpened pencil. Hold it to the jugular and it's a very real threat.

There are just too many possibilities. Nothing is perfectly safe and nothing ever will be and that's just part of living.

Use sleeping gas for how ever long they are going to be in the air, when they land, they wake up, rested. Right now I have no "beef" w/ their baggage restrictions, so long as they leave my cell phone and camera alone.

passengers are not allowed to bring liquids or gels of any size aboard aircraft in their carry-on luggage. This includes
• beverages
• shampoo
• suntan lotion
• creams
• toothpaste
• hair gel
• other liquids of similar consistency

I think its a good measure that have been taken.
