I must put in a date and use a formula. if another another event happens in the month contained by the date, than a calculation should be performed. for example =if(23-Nov-2003 corresponds to Nov-2003 than calculate 23%*1000, if not 0). and I simply can't get it to work

How much money would it take to start a small-home based painting company?
supplies, work van(s), company website, legal fees and permits stuff like that
it would be a small company with one or two vans/workers

With a strong portfolio, a website and a small group of clients I would like to expand my graphic design business into something more full time. Without spending a fortune on online advertising, or networking my current clients (they are all real estate agents and I really want to start working with a larger variety of clients) how can I promote my existing business?

I’m looking for off-the-wall suggestions that would stand out from what everyone in my area seems to do (i.e. Craigslist, online ads). This is a small business, me and a friend who helps when I get busy, and I really want to move this into a full-time venture.

Any other business suggestions would be greatly appreciated (eh, I’m an artist not a businesswoman)!

What sort of things can you sell on ebay that you either don't actually sell a product (ie. a service), or what are some good dropshipping places? I haven't got a camera yet that I can upload photos so I can't really sell anything of my own yet, what else can you do on ebay to make money? Thank you for your help

I just started my web-based business 2 months ago, and am patiently waiting for it to take off. I have been researching ways to increase traffic to my site and don't have the budget for buying ranks on yahoo seaches or any of that software that is out there. Besides real-time advertisement ie Word of mouth, flyers etc. What else can I do?

I work for a large church and we desperately need to have a system to inventory, manage and track office supplies.

We need to establish re-order points and start understanding how the church year (i.e. fall kick-off, Christmas, Easter, summer) affects the need for inventory so what's needed can be onhand and ordered for the best prices. We have good suppliers, but people just order whatever they want/need so there's lots of money to be saved.

I would love to see forms, lists, software, written instructions, policy, rules, methods. You get the idea!

Also, has anyone tried using MS Access Inventory Management template for this?

Well to make it short he made me a check for the total of the job $450 and $150 for what he owed me, so the check was made for $600. He then stopped the check, what would be the chance of collection this in court? this happend in CA.

so, i'm starting up a massage business, however, in order to get a business license, i need a name!!!

if it helps, i want to focus on healing massage, vs just relaxation.. using energy modalities in combination w/ nutritional advice and overall total health to help w/ illnesses in lieu of unneccesary medication... solving the cause not treating the symptoms..

anyways.. any suggestions?

I've been event planning for years and I finally want to branch out on my own, I have website and this week I am planning to send out press releases for free advertising.
