my boss somtimes only gives us an advance on our pay when she goues out of town. then we don't get the rest until next pay period.

Assuming you live in the USA - no she can't. I'm unsure of other countries but believe most of Western Europe has similar rules and laws to ours. In the USA the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act) requires that employers post pay dates and pay on that date or face heavy fines. If you fear retribution for bringing this up (illegal for them to do, but hard to prove) then have someone leave an annonymous note on her desk. She sounds INCREDIBLY insensitive. Good luck!

When you got hired you had to sign alot of paper if it does not state that as part of the deal then you are getting shapped

your boss can hold part of your paychecque for the first time but all the time do not allow him to do it morethan once
