Can someone tell me the particulars of starting a sole proprietorship in canada when part of my client base will require me to travel to the US to do business?

I would be working with clients on an individual basis - not necessarily working with any other established businesses (although in time, who knows!)

I recently discovered my grandfather I hundreds of thousands of German Marks pre 1945. are they worth anything besides Toilet paper. He also has a mauser rifle, german luger, german officer belt buck, real nazi flag and other nazi memorabila including german stamps to. Is that worth anything? The stuff belongs in a muesuem or case to preserve it I was just curious what the stuff is worth. I have no attention of selling it , just want to hold it as a priceless collectors item of forgeton era.

1 I really think the position is challenging and something I know I will enjoy working on a lot.

Well usually I start telling about my education then about my experience usually I don't go in detail because I don't have accounting exp that will help with this job or should I still tell in detail what i did then at last I finish with what skill i have that will help with this job

I love my fiance so much. we want to move in together get married and have kids. but right now we both arent finicially ready for that. but we want it so bad. we have been going out for almost 3 years now. It just seems to get harder and harder for us not living together. and we want a kid. we would have one now but we want to raise it good. get it good things.. we see all these people around doing that seem worse off then we are. we have no real debt or anything but we just cant figure it out.. I dont know what to do. does anyone have any suggestions?? Please help.

My BF and I have our own biz doing computer repair and websites. In November I was done with this one lady’s website. It was everything she wanted it to be, and I was done before schedule and uploaded it to her server to go “live”.

After words, I sent her the payment information. She had known what the price was going to be around from the beginning, so what I was sending her was no surprise. The charges came up to $150 but I gave her a discount for bartering with us and it became $115.

Keep in mind she is a photographer, so I know she had money coming to her sooner or later.

She emailed me telling me that she was short on money that month and was going to be short on her rent and was getting people to help her out. So I gave her some time. Come December I emailed her, she finally got back to me saying she didn’t have access to the internet except when she went to the library. However, I found out in January she had indeed been on the internet a lot because I accidentally stumbled onto her MySpace page and saw all her communications. I did not confront her about this though, it wouldn’t be good for business I figured.

So then in February I sent her an email that if she doesn’t pay x amount with in x amount of time I will start charging interest on it for a late fee. She had not called or emailed me back. I really think she’s trying to avoid me. If she really wanted to talk to me I live across the street. It is not my place to go knock on her door, that would be over barring and bad for business. It’s not much money I am asking for, and we are a small biz so we really do need the money.

I plan on starting the interest soon for the late payment fee, but if she does not comply I’m afraid we’ll have to go to court. I really don’t want to go to court, I don’t like it, it takes a lot of time, and I’m afraid it might cost money.

What should I do?

I religiously watch car buying programmes & take on board their tips but whenever I've tried to haggle, the seller either becomes irate, brandishing me extremely cheeky or just flatly refuses give a decent deal, giving some poor excuse about not being able to stretch further. Ultimately, the joy of having a change of car is distroyed by the disappointment of being ripped off and having the dealer laughing at you behind your back!

I am lil scared of using my credit card when buying something coz
when i give it to the retailer while billing he may note down my credit card number n stuff.

Does the retailer need to see the number at the front of my card and the ccv num at the back of my card for entering it in the swiping machine? or does he jus swipes it and gives it to me back? If he jus swipes it and gives it to me back, I thought of hiding the 3 digit(ccv number) at the back of the card with a tiny sticker.. which will give me some protection.. He cannot see the ccv num and he cannot use it for buying something in the internet..Is that wright??
