There is this girl at my school that is in desperate need of a makeover. We will need about $600. But if we could find a way to get a free haircut, we could use $500. So can somebody give us, two 13 year olds, some ideas on how to get that much money in two weeks??

Well, if the girl has very long hair, you can get her to donate it to Locks of Love and get a free cut. But are haircuts usually that expensive? If you want to do dye-ing you can do that on your own (try the pharmacy section of some store), and I believe that most places do haircuts for 10-25 dollars.

Clothes-wise, try a thrift store, such as Salvation Army. They have some really great stuff for cheap. And as for make-up, unfortunately second hand SO doesn't work, so just go to the cheapest store you can find and help her pick it out.

If you're talking about earning money, then you can hold a bake sale, babysit, rob a bank...THe last one was a joke, albeit a bad one. Really though, you can do a bunch. I'll bet that your parents will chip in, or (if you get allowance) you can get it in advance. That is, if this means that much for you. Oh, hey, if you're planning to redo her wardrobe, or some of it (which I HOPE would explain your need for 500$) couldn't you sell a bit of her stuff?)

First of all, they shouldn't be costing $600. Take a pair of scissors, a cucumber, and some mayo left out in the sun to use as Botox. Bam! Instant glamor!!!!! I am also 13........luckily I don't spend $600 on a hairdo and Clearasil............

If you're paying $100 for a haircut, you need to rethink it.
