I recently discovered my grandfather I hundreds of thousands of German Marks pre 1945. are they worth anything besides Toilet paper. He also has a mauser rifle, german luger, german officer belt buck, real nazi flag and other nazi memorabila including german stamps to. Is that worth anything? The stuff belongs in a muesuem or case to preserve it I was just curious what the stuff is worth. I have no attention of selling it , just want to hold it as a priceless collectors item of forgeton era.

Have no idea the marks. You might check gunbroker.com or auctionarms.com of the guns and memorabilia.

The German banknotes are the only thing I can help you out here as I'm a numismatist. German "Notgeld" were printed and circulated in big quantities during the war and inflation periods, and unless the notes are in uncirculated or somewhere near that condition, then I'm afraid they are not worth much, with most in the range of €2 to €3 retail. There are better notgelds of course, from around €15 to over €150 belonging to the German Empire era. But without any knowledge of the exact notgelds you have there, all I could give are just average retail price ranges. If you need a more accurate evaluation of the notgelds, then I suggest that you consult another numismatist who can examine the items upclose.

As for the Mauser Gewehr and Walther P38 firearms, you could perhaps post another question under "Military" or "Hunting" category. I believe there are many gun enthusiasts there to help. The other collectibles, you could do an online search for them and visit some military collectible sites.
