It is not a PIN number purely because PIN stands for 'Personal Identification Number'. Adding the word 'number' after PIN results in 'number' being given twice, thus 'Personal Identification Number Number'. Nor is it correct to call PINs 'PIN Codes'.

UK based call centres or telephone the usual 01... whatever number to speak with an overseas call centre in Mumbai??

I'm just watching the BBC News and they are saying that the 0870/0845 numbers pay for UK call centres which admittedly I prefer as I have had nothing but problems each time I phone one of these overseas call centres... see for yourself next time you book a holiday with Lastminute.com or telephone Orange mobile phones in the evening!

I used to hate calling those numbers but now I won't moan so much and anyway we can always use those sites which provide alternative numbers.

I haven't been charged for the second item, so no problem there. I've phoned the company three times since December '06 and they've said that they would collect the item, then I've heard nothing. I'm fed up of it taking up space and want it moved! Do I have to keep it until they bother to turn up?

I was memeber of a gym in Grand Bend, ON. Canada. I didn't bring an additional pair of shoes to workout the last time I went there . I was kicked out in a very gross maner because just of that. I made sure I did bring clean and dry running shoes on, but I arrived there half hour before 9 pm the time they were suppose to close. (they probable hated to stay open just because of me and closed that night as soon as I had to run away. Their floor was messy and nobody was there, so they took advantage and yelled at me plus they said they are cancelling my membership. they know I am inmigrant I was a paying member .

I have read some bad things about them. I have been served to go to court and this is the 1st I have heard from them. One week now before court and now they want to settle. It is a true debt that I owe but like I said they have been sued numerous times over several different things and I am afraid to settle with them. Please answer only if you have heard of them.

When I'm in a shop etc I can see the numbers everyone types in for their PIN. I'm talking hundreds of people. Nearly everyone points a single finger at the pad for all to see. Some use two fingers, but I can still see. Maybe they don't think anyone can see, but I'm telling you now: I can. I've yet to see a person who puts their hand over the pad so even they can't see what they're doing. This is what I do: I feel for the keys. On Watchdog recently people who'd had money taken from their accounts were told they couldn't get the money back 'cause they must've disclosed their PIN. They refuted this, but I bet they tapped their PIN in with one sticky-out finger. Come on admit you're guilty of this. I'm going to start telling these idiots that I know their PIN, for their own good.
