I haven't been charged for the second item, so no problem there. I've phoned the company three times since December '06 and they've said that they would collect the item, then I've heard nothing. I'm fed up of it taking up space and want it moved! Do I have to keep it until they bother to turn up?

I eventually found this site... http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/goods-service/scams/fs_u01.shtml The advice they gave was to write a letter... giving 14 days notice for them to collect or I would treat the item as a free gift. Thanks for your help.

Write to them and say that unless the item is collected within 14 days, you will dispose of it.

I think after a certain amount of time and having given them reasonable time to collect it if they dont its yours to keep or dispose of if you wish as an unsolicited gift. Check the trading standards website or similar to verify the legal status first though

Write to them saying that if they don't remove it within seven working days, you will dispose of it and charge them for your inconvenience, otherwise you could say nothing and sell the item in the future, but you have to let them know,so they have a chance to remove it!, Good Luck!

Send them a letter (registered) saying that unless the item is picked up by - set a date- then you will sell or get rid of it because you consider they have reliquished claim on it. Keep a copy of the letter D
