I was memeber of a gym in Grand Bend, ON. Canada. I didn't bring an additional pair of shoes to workout the last time I went there . I was kicked out in a very gross maner because just of that. I made sure I did bring clean and dry running shoes on, but I arrived there half hour before 9 pm the time they were suppose to close. (they probable hated to stay open just because of me and closed that night as soon as I had to run away. Their floor was messy and nobody was there, so they took advantage and yelled at me plus they said they are cancelling my membership. they know I am inmigrant I was a paying member .

dont want to go there anymore, and they were supposed to close at 9 pm. The problem is that they are the owners, this is the only gym in Grand Bend Ontario Canada.
I just going to buy the machine to workout at home, but I am still in choke, I just cant believe how people can be so agresive.

You don't want to belong to a gym that would treat someone that way. However, you should teach them a lesson, that they cannot get away with that in the future. You do this by writing a letter to the management, with as much information as possible. If you think being an immigrant is working against you, you should find a friend or co-worker who is very fluent in English and have them write it. It should sound professional and not overly emotional -- just state the facts. I hope you got the names of the people who did this, or at the very least, the exact day and time that it took place so that the people who did it can be matched by time cards. This is a for-profit company and as such, they HATE negative publicity. They are competing for money against every other gym in the area. So if you can, find someone in the news media who might be interested in your story. Again, be sure you can back it up in an objective manner. If you do this right, the gym staff will think twice before they make another member feel unwelcome.

Some times we get into situations that make us see things in wrong or different way. As a member you should know the rules and regulations, I suggest You to have a talk with whoever was in charge but this time you need to have witnesses and do the right thing. may be an interview with the manager, or move on and find another gym. but is up to You.
good luck...

That was very mean and TOTALLY uncalled for!! GET YOUR SIDE HEARD! maybe get the press involved or just spread it around--that should hurt the gym's business
