I am in Hong Kong and would like to find out if there is anyone out there who can help me - Can I patent or copyright an idea/theme ? It is available in other parts of the world for a long time( the first time i noticed it anywhere was..10 years ago). Until now, no one has even attempted. I wonder if i could patent or copyright the idea and try my luck.

Bear in mind - it is not something new and it is out there and i believe in my heart of hearts that it will be very successful, but i dont want to get ripped off by someone with more money and resourses and steal my idea.

Since no one has thought of it .... its seems fair that i have the first shout at it.

I really wish that someone could help me with this.

Thanx

I ordered a product for my car that I am supposed to lease for a period of six months. The product was sent straight to the installer and was installed. I received the lease in the mail that I am supposed to sign and mail back to them. However, I do not like the product and want to return it. Do I still have to abide by the lease agreement even though I have not signed the lease and mailed it back to them?

Price should reflect the value that consumers are willing to pay vs. Prices should primarily just reflect the cost involved in making a product or service.

I go to Bentley College, a small business school near Boston that has strong finance/accounting programs. I am looking to break into investment banking when I graduate. However, I feel at a huge disadvantage because I do not go to a prestigious university.

Each year, big i-banks such as Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, and JP Morgan hire college graduates with only a bachelors degree from the likes of Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and even some non-Ivies like Carnegie Mellon. I am not one of those people. However, I do boast a very good GPA and plan on getting a finance internship this coming summer.

With that said, how are my chances of landing a position at one of the big investment banks in NYC? And if they are indeed low, what can I do to obtain that type of position without an MBA? Remember, I am looking to break in with just a B.S. in finance, but without the brand name.

I've seen books and software on how to apply for government grants, but does anyone know how, or a site I can check out that DOES tell you how without having to buy anything? Or are these companies just blowing smoke up our rears and there really is no such thing as a government grant?

I actually looked this question up on here...and someone asked pretty much the same thing about 4 months ago, but I don't really think the explanation was clear or thorough enough...

I still can't see why "sisters" would be the better term than "brothers"...

Anyone have anymore insight?

Just curious....
