I have started my laundry business a couple of months ago. As time goes by, i notice the growth rate of new customer is not that significant anymore. How do we explore new market share and best way to reach new customer? I am constantly giving flyers, promotional information. Can anyone suggest me a creative way to advertise and attract new customer?

Buy cheap any color t-shirt then sent to printer, print your company name and write something creative. Give it to your regular customer.

Propose to any factory, or hotel to send their laundry to u. hotel is better, they need to clean bed sheet etc everyday.

Create point system, if your customer reaches certain point they will get 1kg free laundry or something.

Publicity (news worthy)… cheap way or expensive way. If u can get reporter come to your store is better.

Friendly with all customer, good service and good price will create our customer become our free marketing executive.

Any social activities happen around your store, u need participate even play soccer in the evening. More contact means more business.

I noticed that the DIY (self-service) laundry shop in Taman Sri Serdang, Selangor near Universiti Putra Malaysia get good respond from students stay around.

You may have a few washing machines which your customers can do self-service and of course the charges must be lower.
Open your shop on saturday evening and sunday for self-service business.

I also known that a laundry shop owner in Serdang use his own car to collect clothes from house to house. After washing, they send the clothes back to them. This is a real value-added marketing approach. I beileve after a while, customers will take the initiative to go to the laundry shop.
