What is performance appraisal? What are the most common mistakes managers make in performance appraisals? What should small business managers do to avoid making these mistakes?

Like say Mayfair costs like £4.42 and the superkings cost like £4.46. Surely thier losing out a bit seems the extra bits on the superkings would acculmalate to 3-4 cigarettes, with your average cigarette costing approx 20p. Odd question I know but its been bugging me for a few days.

I had seen lot of questions here and lot of answers to the above question in this forum. However is it really possible for earning online? Lets talk in the practical world whether it is possible. It should not be like 3 days effort are resulting in 100/- paid. I persoanlly tried many sites and all of them are bogus, even those which are posted by some people in this forum. Like me I am sure many people would have come across these bogus sites. This is the question especially for them is it really true?

I am having some trouble with a new business. I am concerned because the large advertising expense will erode profits for the first year of operations and I know that to obtain financing you will be required to submit an income statement prepared based on absorption costing. A manager approached me about a way to improve profits so it will be easier to obtain financing for future operations. The manager suggested that I have the controller classify the large advertising expense as a product cost, similar to materials and labor. How would classifying advertising expense as a product cost improve profits? Is this approach ethical? Is it legal?

My friend is on a website that enables her to connect with people who are willing to assist her financially. She's had some gerat success with it and has a couple great friendships.
I have some life goals that I really need help achieving. I'm working full time and living on my own, and really want to go to college but can't afford it. I also need a new bed... I won't bore you with the details.
Has anyone else tried this? Experience only please. This is an honest question.

I just wanted to get your thoughts on this deal. My wife had surgery recently. After insurance, our bill (deductible and copay) is $4,307. I spoke to the hospital today and if I pay in full, they will give a 35% discount, making the bill $2,799. The other option is to apply for their credit plan, handled by GE Financial. I can select 3, 6 or 12 month payment plan at 0% interest AND still get the 35% discount. That sounds like the way to go for me. I figure why spend the money sooner than I have to if they are going to give me 12 month 0% financing AND the discount.

Any reason that wouldn't be the best plan? I have excellent credit so qualifying for the plan isn't an issue.

I am not talking about volume discounts or sales. I am talking about having one base price on one web page and a different base price on another.

I finished a basement over a year and a half ago and one of the suppliers just now called and said they don't see where I paid. They're usually very on top of their accounting and send out statements every month. I know I paid this bill. I just moved and all of my checks are somewhere in storage. I don't want to spend a week looking through everything I have to find that one check. After more than a year and a half without sending and invoice is there anything they can do? What's the time frame for them being able to take any action against me, if there is any?
