eventually get the best yield, by having the remitting bank send GBP or A $? Don't you usually get best rates for a currency in it's country of use(australian $, in this case), rather then in a foreign country where (UK,GBP) where many currencies are available?

I've been working from home (3 years now) and I'm doing pretty well. I find myself keeping busy just to keep busy and I still get bored. Sometimes I feel like I do nonsense things just to keep busy. I've been bored several times before, but this time i'm bored to a whole new level. I only work 20 hours a week. Before anyone gives me advice, I'm pretty normal, have a lot of friends, a GF, read, work-out at the gym, watch movies, etc. Any suggestions?

I wish to bring to your notice that I was an applicant for education loan at State bank of Travancore, Kanjikuzhi branch, Kottayam. The above said education loan was for the purpose of tuition fees and other incidental expenses of my son who is a student of cookery and restaurant management , at Ketees institute of hotel management studies at Kochi. Now, when I say Two Dollar Bill, I mean the ones that were printed with the RED ink instead of the green ink that's on them now. So how much would a $2.00 bill in RED ink be worth today?

My guess is no more than well...$2.00 but some people say they'd be worth more. *sigh* but those same people 'couldn't' actually say how much.

There's Goodwill (used stuff) stores everywhere and I just wondered what purpose they actaully serve? I mean, they are for the lower income people, and I went in there with a friend the other day, and you pay close to retail price for stuff. I thought they were there to help the less fortunate. What do they do with all that money they make off of the stuff they get for free, I know, like Salvation army gives stuff to kids, does meals on wheels and all kinds of other stuff, but I've never heard of Goodwill doing anything. So what do they do with all the money they make?
