My son's great grandfather purchased a number of savings bonds (I do not know what type) for my son to be used when he went to college.
The problem is he held them until his death several years ago and afterwards I have no idea where they went or who has them.
I assume my son's father has them, but how can my son, who is now 18yrs old find out for sure?
Is there anyway my son's father could have cashed them in and used them for himself before my son came of age?
(My son's father and I have been divorced for over 15yrs)

Any information would be helpful here.

I have been following closely the US currency and as everyone can see, the US currency has fallen against most major currency including the Euro, Yen, Renminbi and even the Canadian dollar.

Until last week, I have also noticed that the US Dollar has fallen over 25 cents to the Mexican Peso. Is there any reason why?. I have some cash stored in Peso that I need to convert to US dollar but does anyone know how low the dollar will fall to the Peso. It was trading at US1=MXN11.1 until last week when it fell to US1=MXN10.78

Any currency broker and specialist in here?. Thank you.

Does anyone have a link to a reputable site that shows the one year historical returns of the different asset classes (i.e. small cap value, small cap blend, small cap growth, international bonds, government bonds, etc.)? And by one year historical returns, it means being able to see how it did in 2000, 2001 2002, etc.

I used to have a link to a good site but I of course lost it.

I am new to buying and trading stock on line. I just want to try and put a small amount down on something but don't have tons of money. Using the site fidelity.com, what is the smallest amount of stock that can be bought for an independent purchase (non mutual fund buy)? Can you always buy as small as 1 share at any time? For instance, if a share cost about 105.50, can you usually go in and just buy one share?

I am looking at financial advisors who manage just stock profios. What is a good way to determine the best fees to expect? How much are the fees normally? I was told 1/4 of a base point for a month by one. If I have $1000 in the account how much would that be?

Thanks
