Finding good stocks to invest in seems impossible. When the big one hits and you find out it is already too late to act on it. How do successful people know before it hits?

I don't trust some of the so called "experts" so much. It seems like some of the more recognized experts actually create the frenzy. Chicken & egg syndrome.

I kind of want a Nintendo Wii, but I'm thinking I might not play it very much and its hard to come by. Then I thought, maybe a new MP3 player? But I already have a decent one (Toshiba Gigabeat F20). I usually don't play video games, but Nintendo makes some fun games. I loved all the wario ware games and liked the Ocarina of Time. What should I do!? Should I buy the Wii or something else?

Hello everyone, I am a recent graduate from college and I got a $5,000 present from my parents. I would like to invest it somewhere. Stocks or a mutual funds look like a good idea but I am a COMPLETE newby on the whole investing idea. What do you suggest I do? I would like something low-risk but with average returns. I mean I can get 5% from the bank so anything around 10-15% (or more) would be nice.

What do you all think I should do with the money?

I know this is "top secret" ;), but please share what's the currency you are now investing in.
I bet on the NZD/USD, and just gladly discovered that NZD has the highest trend the past month against USD :) ...
On the other hand I bought CHF/JPY and now I have very hard time and not so good feelings about CHF/JPY going over 0.92...what in fact I need.

Thanks!
