With all the scam artists out there good luck- you'll need it. Networking with friends and family is your best bet to get the ball rolling, though. The small business administration (SBA) might be able to help you as well.

I agree with Spanix try your family and friends first there our some greedy people out there. And if you do find some investors get your own attorney to look over everything and remember if it sounds to good to be true then it's not true.
