I have been telling the auditors that the report is due on the 31st January and they are still doing audit testing today. There is no way the report is going to be ready by next Tuesday.

If I complain to them and the rest of the group it looks like I have something to hide. If I dont I look like a poor manager.

Any suggestions?

benchmark editorial costs for databases?

In businesses building and selling databases (such as D&B, Acxiom, Experian, infoUSA or Bisnode) what's an average benchmark cost of creating the data, as a percent of revenue? For B2B trade publishers, a recent study said editorial expense is 16% of revenue. What's the comparabale % for database businesses?? Thanks!

Does youur company have high turnover/attrition?

I work in the HR department that supports a large Call Center in Sacramento. We have extremely high attrition and are looking for new and creative ways to reduce attrition and also hold the management team accountable for it as well. Any ideas?
