I am very organized, like office work, and I love to be creative. I also have good people skills. Would advertising be something that I would enjoy?

I know of a wholesaler that sales cute, trendy home goods. They have a huge supply and I know this stuff sells. TONS of people buy it and sell it but I dont have a store. Will people buy that sort of stuff on the internet? Not on an ebay store but an actual web site.

Just bought a suit at Macy's. They absolutely butchered the tailoring. The right sleeve is 2 inches shorter than the left. They said they could try to fix it but such heavy alterations may always be noticeable, considering they have to add so much length. They wont exchange with a sku number, and im going crazy looking for the reciept. can i look this up from my online bank account?

I'm taking a marketing class and need to find out how a retailer tracks inventory and such by the last 2 digits of a price. I'm not refering to psychological or odd pricing. The example the professor used in class was say the price is $9.87, the 87 might mean discontinued item to the retailer, or 5.34 might mean slow seller don't restock. I've searched everywhere on the web. I think these are probably retailer specific. Any information that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

With the shift in the emphasis of the economy (from Industrial to Information), business is usually defined by customer relations instead of products and factories. Also, sales success depends on adding value instead of meeting sales quotas.

Therefore, as a customer, how would you like the salesperson to add value to make shopping for a car worthwhile?

In the USA you can go to lots of business websites, such as crate and barrel, flax, moma, and receive free catalogs of merchandise to order. Is there any authentic French places that do this? I love French items and would love to be able to purchase authentic french items. Can anyone help me? I do not speak or read french but am in process of learning. Thanks a bunch for any help anyone can provide. ( web address', mailing address' etc.)

What do you think about a business card that has a solid red background with off white typed letters?

Or a solid black back ground and red typed letters?

Wich one would attract more people?
Or get more sales?

My advertising group and I are doing our term project for a wedding photographer. We think that some of the advertising will probably be aimed at wedding planners. So how do wedding planners work. Do they already have all the services or do they have contact with a bunch of caterers, photographers, florists etc. and show them to their clients? If the second option is the more right, how do they know about all these businesses? and how do these businesses usually advertise to wedding planners?

I know that most creative people (web designers, graphic artists, etc.) have websites, and as a writer, I have one too. I want to try a personal marketing touch. I had some really nice business cards printed up (with graphics of a person working at a computer, etc. I want to post some of them in places in my neighborhood (with an upscale, educated, affluent population). What would be good places to post them locally, i.e., libraries, supermarkets, bookstores, any types of businesses, universities, etc? Also, assuming there's a bulletin board, should I put up a few with pushpins in case people want to take them? Also, although the business is new, I'm a published fiction and non-fiction writer and editor with a lot of experience, so would putting them up give an impression of someone cheap or just starting out?
