Why do people say pay your bills on time when none of my bills are being reported to the credit bureau? What are good ways to establish credit after a come back from bad credit? Everyone suggest get a department store credit card, but from what specific store, I just got shot down for a target card. Any tipson how to keep your credit decent after a lay off and working for peanuts.

I found these guys on the web. They have been in business 10 years. Their rep says for my husband and I it will be $1500 because there is so much to clean off. This seems excessive but I have not ever done this before. I know we can do it ourselves but we have no time. Can someone please advise?

I am a very creative person and have many ideas on how various businesses could implement changes or new products that I believe would be very profitable. Even in my own small business I think of solutions for my clients but I usually need another company to implement the idea. About one month ago, I went to my boss with with a detailed outline regarding my current position and how I think the job has evolved. I asked for a significant raise of and additional $9000 per year and asked for paid tuition.(I currently have an AA degree in Business,want to get my BA) I included facts about the industry, my skills, and salary research. She was very receptive. Said she agreed and was very impressed. She has had several meetings with the owners of our company and is ready to talk to me about my promotion and raise. I have worked there for 9 years. I have never asked for anything like this before. So I am niave about what to expect form our lunch meeting.

Like payday or title loan services. Anything that you didn't feel strongly for or if a company was out there for the supposely (helping) but actually it was hurting consumers.

I became unemployed over a year ago, and found a job which I regret taking now. The company treats it's employees terribly in every way, and the employees are leaving weekly, it is that bad. Initially, the company profile did sound great and professional. However, the company seemed to be online constantly, and after my first interview, I was hired immediately, little reg flags I ignored. I didn't know how bad it really was until I was there a few days. Of course I am in the job market again but I don't want to make the same mistake and end up in a similiar predictament.
