How to make a little extra cash from computer at home but cannot sit at it all day? What are some sites to look into? Has anyone done it?

I received a letter from a collection agency stating that I had 5 days to pay an account or it would show up on my credit report. I complied and sent off a cheque for the balance immediately and it showed in my bank account the funds had come out before the 5 day deadline. I just got a copy of my credit report and the collection is showing up even though they assured me it wouldn't. It does say the account has been paid in full but is there any way I can get this information removed or is it too late? Will the agency even bother with me now that they have their money?

A friend bought a computer that had AOL already installed and activated (by the retailer) without his knowledge. He has been charged several hundred dollars for a service he has never used (they admit he has never used it) but they won't refund his money! What can he do?

I want to set up a company that I can use to do investment like buying stocks/bonds/real estate etc. I know how to set up a regular corporation like S-corp or C-corp for normal business. Can I use the regular S-Corp or C-Corp for investment? Thanks.

I applied with a company, got two interviews and finally after the 2 month process was called and they extended to me the position..however we got to talking about salary and I said how much I was making and I expected to atleast make that if not more and they said they would have to get it approved. So after another week of waiting, they called today and said nothing but-We are sorry but we will have to rescind the offer! Just like that..They said it was nothing I done or said it was just my qualifications and salary expectations are too high for the position. So thats it no counter offer or anything!? I would have even taken a lil less to get into the company! I just felt shafted! Especially because I was upfront before the interviews began how much I expected. They even gave me a salary range when I first interviewed with them and it was in my range. What happened?? What went wrong?!

I rented in Virginia, and lived in both Florida (moving from) and New York (moving to). My car insurance paid for the vehicle, taxes, title, and everything except the administrative and loss of use fees. My credit card will pay the rest with proof of loss of use via a fleet utilization log. The rental car agency and their collection agency refuse to provide them. Is this legal?

I am having a VERY difficult time getting chosen for a job because of my past employer. I was hired for an Admin Asst. but was quickly moved to "receptionist". After putting up with it for 10 plus months, I decided I had to quit and move on. My old boss was PISSED and said he would do everything he could to make it hard for me to find a new job. (He is a very mean-spirited person) whom no one in the office really likes. He has done this to many women before me and I was told I was the one who "lasted the longest" under his "control".

Since leaving there, I have had to list him as my previous supervisor ( because he was ) and he is telling potential employers inappropriate and untruthful things about me.

What can I do to stop this? I need some good advice so he stops doing this, he's ruining my life and I don't even work there any more.

I have posted two questions on this site this month and both have been answered by people who seem to have nothing else to do other than to try to make other people feel as if they are asking dumb questions, if you can not answer the question directly or if you feel the need to try to council or repremand someone then please just keep your response to your self because i dont need the sarcasim or smart alic remarks, further more,for those people that have it all figured out in the north eastern part of the country you know who you are; I live in the deep south and fliping houses and realestate is booming here and the govornment does provide grants for fixing up homes if there is anyone out there that actually knows the answer to my original question of how to flip homes with bad credit and you actually have some experience in this area and are not just SPECULATING then please by all means answer my original question and if you have any answers to the current question please respond
