this little boy I babysit for wants to make a few bucks, god knows what for. Any suggestions, besides the obvious lemonade stand?

At that age, his parent should be his employers as well as his customers. It's not advisable for him to interface with neighbors or strangers without parental approval and control.

That said, it's an opportunity to foster and encourage his entrepreneurial interests.

He's seems like a bright child. Find out what he likes to do and think of ways he can 'sell' his talent.

For example - if he likes to draw, encourage to do so, frame his pictures and buy some of them yourself and show him how to make posters to sell his 'art'. Then accompany him through the neighborhood and let him help pinning up the posters.

He can look for old toys and clothes that don't fit and have a yard sale. Bake brownies, cookies and sell them.
