Appearance do catch the attention of the bosses that is why pretty girls thrive in corporations. It is because the bosses want beautiful atmosphere when they come to the office such as talking to pretty girls. Anyway, it is just one of the factors that pretty girls have, they must be wise also in order to succeed.

It depends. Attractiveness gets you hired. But once in, if she's having an affair with the boss or if she politically savvy she will be promoted. By then it doesn't matter if she looks like a dog or not.
