In the fashion industry, the ideal beauty is tall, thin, straight hair, light skin, and I think they don't like big butts. So, what are blacks, latinas, native americans are supposed to do when they don't have those things? Is it right to say, "I'm latina and latinas are curvy and are not built like whites?

In most countries how do most people keep themselves from being pregnant?

Because people everywhere have sex, and prostitute etc.. in the other countries where people dont use condoms, birth control, etc how come a lot of them don't get pregnant?

He's my best friend at college, he's 21, and he's really vain (not in a bad way- he's just really into looking good). Anyway- the gift he asked for was something I found at the french market before the hurricane and now the guy who sells it isn't there anymore :( So basically I have no clue what to get him! He got me a cute box of stuff from L'Occitane (an expensive bath product store...) anyway it was really nice....and I have NO CLUE what to buy a boy!!!! Please give me suggestions!!!! Thanks :)

Since my fiancee has been working out at the local gym and showering and what not she has become a little self concious about "body hair". She has mentioned that she figures the trend with the "model like" ladies is to shave everything totally clean. She wonders though does that mean that if she chooses to go "natural" does that make her somewhat counter-culture and "edgy"? I know this topic is silly, but for some reason she is concerned about this (note: she has always wanted to be unique and independent, sort of like an alternative punk rocker....) Any opinions on this? I'm at a total loss as to what to say to her (so far I've wisely said nothing!)

My eyebrows have always been crazy. They grow crazy, they are shaped weird, and for some reason they don't like to grow in the center. Trying to draw it in doesn't work, so I don't know what to do! I was thinking if I started shaving my eyebrows maybe the center would grow, but I am really scared about shaving them because drawing them on could be a mess. Especially for someone who has never drawn in eyebrows! I was hoping someone on here could give me advice. These guys I work with are the worst. It can be the midde of winter and you've got people going around with white pants, black socks, and brown sandals. If they still gave out pocket protectors these guys would have them. And what's with the black dress pants are white socks? Don't they know they look like geeks?
