I want a belly button pierced but i dont kno should i or shouldnt i? Does it look good?

I actually have my belly button pierced and when I got it done it hurt really bad... but I heard that it hurts worse when your skinny and not as bad when you got a little extra (I guess because the extra flab doesnt make it hurt)... It also took a long time for my piercing to heal... but it may have been infected, even though I took good care of it...... But I've heard that belly button piercings are sexy and I like how mine looks soo, YES!

If you play any type of sports, I don't suggest getting one. I have friends who have had experiences where the ring has almost ripped out completely.
If the above doesn't apply to you, think the whole thing through. Think about if you'll still like having your belly button pierced 10, 20, or 30 years from now.

a) Leave it to Britney Spears.
b) Think about yourself in 50 years. How might it look?
c) What if it gets stuck with a button and hurts yourself?
d) I find sexier a non-pierced belly button.

Yes I think they are very cute they are not trashy it's all in who you are and the ways you wear you stuff, people get jealous because usually the ones with a button ring have the stomach for it. It the same as having your ears pierced, is that trashy???

Don't do it. Unless you are wanting to look like a stripper. Guys say that the natural belly is much better. Belly rings are so yesterday. But if it's something that you want to do for yourself, then who cares. Do it. I just think they are trashy looking. I bet you are too cute for that anyway. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I know one friend that his sister got her belly button peirced and it turned green. But don't let that scare you off. The best choice is to ask your doctor

I got one and it didn't hurt at all. I liked it but turns out my body overheals. I now have a really ugly scar where the ring got pushed right out.

no! it hurts when you get it pierced and when you put your shirt on the pain is excruciating! the piercing gets infected and it hurts to sit down also.
