When I was a kid I loved to receive, but as I've gotten older my perspective has changed. I enjoy my family getting together, as the holidays are the one time of year we get to do so, (we all live in different states) and I enjoy getting gifts for all of the younger kids in my family and watching their joy as they open them. I now also enjoy getting my mama things, as I always manage to surprise her with my gifts. (she's the type that insists you don't have to buy her anything) Corny I know, but I love giving gifts to the people close to me.

I love getting the presents but I love seeing the look on my family members face when I get them something that they have been wanting. =] Id have to say I like giving much better than receiving.

I like giving presents more because i love seeing everyone happy and opening their presents. and that i like them knowing that i care about them, but no buying love. they know that i like to give.
