i got a $50 giftcard but i've never gone there before

They are always having sales so I'm sure you'll be able to find some cheap shirts/sweaters- especially in the Junior's section.
You could also use the gift card in a number of other departments: purses, scarves, jewlrey, makeup (they have Clinique, MAC, Lancome, etc.), perfume, shoes, lingerie, etc...

Macy's does not have high end fashion like Gucci, but you can definetely walk out of there with a few good items! Although 50 will not buy you an outfit, it'll definetely give you a head start, and even help you buy an expensive pair of shoes of outfit that you've wanted. Going on the big sale even days would be a great way to utilize your 50, and normally you can find great stuff at Macy's on those days. GOOD LUCK!

Girl, you won't believe what you can get from there and if you cut out the coupon in Sunday's paper, you'll get a discount on top of that.
My recommendation is to wait until the Christmas Eve or their shopping sale right after Christmas - DKNY, GUCCI all that is real cheap, not only clothes and shoes, but purses, watches,etc. Oh girlfriend, I best get off now cause I can go on and on and on. Macy's is my fav!!!

Yes you can find shirts there for cheap.But the only problem is that you have to look on the racks.. And be so much clothes. Thats my problem you can find nice clothes but it takes time, you have to look through everything.But hey you will find nice clothes though.. And plus its a sale now.. so you will have a deal...

don't be fooled you can find good deals at macy's also look for coupons in the newspaper. i have bought jeans there for $20. look on the clearance rack also.
