Makeup - September 2007

I'm using Color ideal Foundation (Lancome), Color ID Loose Powder (Lancome) and Concealer (Lancome). I'm using their cleanser/toner too but I'm almost emptying the bottles and later I started to look at Estee Lauders' skincare products, moisturizers,serums and cleanser/toners and I found some stuff that I like.

Is it OK or HARMLESS to use make-up from a different brand and skincare products from another different brand?

Please tell me your experience if any of you try to mix other brands (It doesn't has to be the same brands from above if you don't use them)

I would also like to hear your experience from these two products. I'm new with Lancome and later I started searching about Estee lauder products.

I don't mind reading about other brands but I would like to know more about Lancome and Estee Lauder then other brands.

Okay, I've heard that Boots' own brands don't test on animals, but what I need to know is do Boots sell any brands that test on animals? I am already aware that ingredients in all products will have been tested on animals at one time or another. I need to know if any brands do test on animals e.g. Bourjois, Rimmel, Max Factor etc. Answers will be much appreciated!

ok i bought 3 types of eyeshadows and i need help on applyinf them. please say how to apply for each one. if there are any special tools that are supposed to be used but arent in the picture please say so and say a store that sells them for cheap! try eyeslipsface.com and give somke links from there. here are the shadows:

the last one is actually a blush i think but i use it as eyeshadow sometimes because some of the colors are like purple so what application tool do i use for that?

I have a brush i use for the powder i put on my face, but i really do need a foundation brush for my foundation.
What do foundation brushes look like and could you use a small powder brush instead or is that just stupid!?

I have had the same tube of mascara for many years and wore it Friday the 14th for the first time in a long time. Today part of my eyelid is puffy and itchy.

Did I get infected by mites? I know we all have mites, but I didn't think it was anything to worry about long as you didn't share - which I didn't.

What should I do? Is there anything that can be done, or will it most likely clear up in a few days?

I want sum fun colors of eyeliner! what colors should i use?

My eyes water quite alot for no reason and the eyeliner i use (maybeline kohl) always ends up going down my face. I sometimes use liquid but it is tricky to apply and usually gets into my eyes and makes them run even more. Does anyone know of an eyeliner that stays and doesnt make your eyes water? Thanks xo

This isn't a very good pic to tell, but it's the only one I have with my new blush. It's probably hard to tell but am I wearing the wrong color of blush? I've never worn it before and I don't want to ask my friends because they don't wear any soo.. what do you think? :s

okay so i was using REVLON COLORSTAY EYELINER and i just ran out. It stayed on all day but it wasn't that dark.

At school my eyeliner usually wears off and I can't find a cheap eyeliner that's really BLACK and stays on. REVLON COLORSTAY worked for everything else but it wasn't dark enough.

So does anyone know of an eyeliner that's REALLY REALLY DARK BLACK, SUPPPPPER LONG LASTING, LOW COST.

i'm a cheerleader and everyone thinks i'm preppy and they don't even know me. and so it turns people against me. except all the people on my squad. psh i'm here to change everything. i'm not a stuck-up, kiss-up, or a backstabber. i hate people who turn against you or just use you for somthing, i love my friends and would do anything for them. i laugh a lot and i get commented on my laugh alot haha. people thinks i laugh weird but its ok. i wear a lot of make up but not TOO much that is like all bunched up. ew. and that makes people go even more against me.

there is girl in my homeroom and she insits that if u add red food coloring to clear lipgloss it will turn pink, i tell her no that wont happen it will just be like liquid inside they gloss, can u please prove her wrong and explain y she wont believ me maybe if i get more opinions and reasons she will stop being so ignorant!

OK I wear false eyelashes almost everyday and to goopy glue keeps getting stuck in my lashes. Its also a pain to blend my natural lashes and fake lashes together...should I just but them off or will it look funny?
