usually none, but if you like that sort of thing then just eyeliner or night time real dramatic club scene with black eyeshadow

I think a little tinted moisturizer is okay if you need to even things out a little.
But, Brow gel is something I don't mind seeing on a guy, most everyone's brows need a little control anyway.
I think bronzer is even okay in the summer time, but go with something like Bobbi Brown or Clinique they tend not to have shimmer/glitter in them.
A little eyeliner is okay every so often, but just a little and it won't make you look too emo, just keep it thin and only along your top lash lines.
Just make sure you don't over do it unless you want to end up looking like a transvestite. (Which most are straight men anyway, according to the great Eddie Izzard)
**It is gradually becoming more socially acceptable for heterosexual men to wear a little makeup. It's not always for "Emo" purposes, some people just like to take a little more pride in there appearance, so don't let people get you down. It's your life, do what you want!!!

Well groom hands and nails are nice on any person, guys or girls. You might not want to wear bright red polish, but gnarly finger nails are hideous. Matte clear polish looks perfectly fine.
As for the face, something to blend/conceal blemishes or even out skin tone is OK.
The reaction "Ew no! He's not a real man if he wears makeup or beautify himself!" amuses me. I don't see how being well groomed changes a man from a man unless one's idea of what makes a man a desirable man is based on superficial notions. I would not have any problem with David Beckham. He's still a manly hottie, manicured and pink polish and all.

Depends on the guy, Jared Leto and Dave Navarro can pull of eye liner or "man polish" but to see it on a regular guy walking down the street?? Well depending on what it is you think of A) EMO or B) Goth

A little zit coverup is not a bad thing for guys, unless their lady just really loves looking at massive white-headed oozing bloody puss pimples.

Me and my girlfriend were just talking about this last night, and she said that a little concealer is fine to hide spots and blemishes, but actual makeup is a big no-no.

NONE. My guy never ever needs to wear make up, nor would I like to see it on him. I think I'd leave him if he did.
