I have a haircut where it's layered in the back and longer on the sides... This is what I want to do.. My hair is originally blonde. I want to bleach my top layers and make the other layers black or dark brown. Any pics of this? Yes, I am going to get it done professionally. Thanks.

I have a hairline that goes way back.ive had it from day one so it hasnt receded.what would you call that???it goes back very far and looks very much like a receding hairline but it hasnt receded.i get frustrated when people call it a receding hairline but cant be bothered to tell them it hasnt receded and has always been like that

I am leaving for Navy Basic training in about 3 1/2 weeks. I have a very short pixie cut that I usually part to the side with product. I get to bring no hair product with me, and when my hair naturally dries it is sticking up everywhere. Does anybody have any tips for controlling hair with something, or somehow so that I look semi decent. Oh yeah, pins don't work. I tried.

My husband has recently shaved his head and plans to keep it that way. What is the best method you have found for shaving your head? Are there any good electric razors that will do a close shave or is it best to use a regular razor? Right now he's using a Schick Quatro, but it seems to get dull quick.

Okay i want to got my hair cut like anne hathaways. Not the cut in Devil wear prada with the bangs, but the one thats long and kinda casual and simple, but i dont know how to describe it to a hairstylist and my printers broken. this is how my hair is right now:

There is dark brown underneath it, and I have extensions. There are a lot of orange parts in my hair from bleaching it. My real hair is only a couple inches past my shoulders.
How should I dye it when I take my extensions out?

I'm not talking about lace front wigs or weaves but an actual wig sewn on. I've gotten an appt. tomorrow because it is less expensive than a weave but I wonder if it is damaging and if it's difficult to get the wig off once you've had it done? Lastly how difficult is it to wash the hair? Is it just better to wear a wig and braid the hair underneath? I don't want a weave. Thank you.

I have coloured some of my hair an orangish colour but i would like to change it up. Ideally i would rather not bleach it again for awhile so i was just wondering if anyone knew what would happen if i just put purple over it. I don't know what colour orange and purple would make. Would it be brownish?

I striaghten it and I dyed it black w/ layers at the top middle and all inbetween. Its got a unique style to cuz its like majorly layered but I am not sure now. I am not sure wether to grow it out mid back lenghth like Ive had it b4 or just to grow it out to an inch above my shoulder. My face has a heart shape, I pull my bangs over to the left side over my eye and I am not sure. Could I get some help plz? I am not sure as to what lenghth I want.
Reasons 4 short:
-easier 2 matian
-easier to dye
-easier to straighten
Reasons 2 go long:
-Easier 2 pull back
-Looks pretty in different styles
-looks good curly or striaght
-can run my fingers through it or chew on it
-easier to play w/

I'm trying to go for something kinda cool, if a little contemporary. And honestly, I like the look on the buzzhawk. Of course, I have red-brown (blonde when short) hair, so I'm not sure if it'll look right.

Except on the goatee, the mustache would be a little thinner at the bottom, and the soul patch would be extended to a long shin stripe.

Anyway because of all the red pigment my hair always looks brasssy. (9 have tried Ash, Beige, etc) I can't find a color that will complemente with my milk white skin. Browns wash me out & reds are to brassy. HELP!
