Hair prep for Navy?

Question

I am leaving for Navy Basic training in about 3 1/2 weeks. I have a very short pixie cut that I usually part to the side with product. I get to bring no hair product with me, and when my hair naturally dries it is sticking up everywhere. Does anybody have any tips for controlling hair with something, or somehow so that I look semi decent. Oh yeah, pins don't work. I tried.

I would talk to a hairdresser and explain the situation to them. They might suggest something or perhaps a different hair style so that your hair will work with you instead of against you.
