My husband has recently shaved his head and plans to keep it that way. What is the best method you have found for shaving your head? Are there any good electric razors that will do a close shave or is it best to use a regular razor? Right now he's using a Schick Quatro, but it seems to get dull quick.

A few years ago, a close friend was undergoing Chemo and lost all his hair. I had worn my hair really long, almost to the small of my back. I, along with some other friends shaved my head to show support for our friend who later died. I found that I really liked it shaved clean and have kept it that way ever since. I shave it every other day with a Gillette Mach 3 razor that I keep int the shower stall and only use for my head. It lasts me just about 2 weeks before I notice it starting to drag or get dull. Then, I put that razor on my bathroom sink and use it for another 2 weeks to shave my face which is much tougher than my tender head. I then put a new razor blade in the one in the shower for my head. I have not found an electric razor that shaves nearly as close on my head as the razor does.

Why doesn't he just keep it buzzed all the way down. That way you don't have to worry about razors. The last thing you would want is ingrown hairs on your head from shaving...
