The structure of your hair is vulnerable to drying agents, including the chlorine in swimming pools. The cortex, or inner layer, of hair is protected by the cuticle, or outer later. Sebum is a natural lubricant that protects the cuticle. The chlorine in pools sucks the sebum out of your hair, which may cause the cuticle to crack. This damage causes your hair's natural sheen to diminish, and the unprotected cortex to "split" (split ends).

at the start consistently make confident your hair is moist until now you pass into the pool. The chemical ingredients have much less result once you are trying this as your hair is already soaked Secondly; There are products which you will put in your earlier than swimming which will safeguard hair Thirdly a cap will help and not having your head below the water placed your hair up if available. Fourth. consistently rinse and wash your hair with a solid product at present once you pop out of the pool. 5th: change to a dry hair shampoo at present it is going to help. 6th.situation after washing. seventh; placed funds into solid products and hit upon a low-value source for it (non retail, yet salon variety and see in case you will hit upon a bulk source as you will pass via lots)

It dries and lightens it. I have known blondes whose hair became much lighter when they swam often in chlorinated pools. I never saw any green tint, though.

It damages hair in large amounts, especially blonde hair.
It can turn blonde hair a greenish tint, and it dries out hair and gives you more split ends. It can also alter hair color, usually dulling it, especially if it is dyed.

Dries it out.
It also makes dark hair duller & lighter and put a greenish tinge on blonde hair.
...You have to be really careful to wash it all out!!!

It takes off some of the colour, makes your hair brittle and dry thus making it easy to break off or fall out.
