I've always had dry hair and I've tried to work with that, but now combinaton hair ?? how is that possible ?? I have an oily scalp and the rest of my hair is very dry, AAH!!!
What shampoos, treatments or products do you recommend ??

I have semi-wavy hair, and a fairly good straightener, and i use it to try and straighten my hair. But it seems as if as soon as I move on to another piece of hair, the first is as wavy as when I started. How do I get my hair to stay straight? Do I have to hairspray it first? And if so, what is a good hairspray or other product to use, that won't make my hair completely stiff?

I already dye my hair with loreal preference dark brown. But the color just doesnt seem to last, and lightens up dramatically within the first week. Is there a color, or brand that I should try to keep my color dark dark brown....the color it looks when wet. Or should I just get it professionaly done? any advice would help...thanks!

Okay, my whole family was born with this straight, thin hair and mine is all bushy and curly and REALLY thick. I was just wondering how to thin it out and also, does anyone else have this issue too? Reverse Genetics perhaps?

Even knotty pine sawdust or grill smoke scented shampoo. I feel helpless when I need to buy shampoo and all I see is green tea, avacado, lemon and rose pedals.

I dyed my hair months ago a dark brown/red color. My hair is naturally dirty blonde. Now I want it back to my normal color but it's not working! I bought some Clairol bleaching stuff and did it and the only thing it bleached was my roots!! So now I have bleach blonde roots and dark brown/red hair!!!! HELP! I can't afford to go to a stylist. Is there anything I can do from home????

iF i bleached my hair blonde....the went from champagne blonde to a an amber blondish brown...can i go blonde again or will that be hard??

I am a huge fan of scotch and would like some ideas and suggestions for a nice smooth scotch. Right now my personal preference is craigmere(sp). Please no answers like "johnny walker blue lable. I would like to steer away from the blened scotch vareity (not that there is anything wrong with it) but would prefer a nice single malt. I just colored my hair burgandy and it's beautiful! I've done this before but it fades so quickly. I plan on investing the time and energy for the upkeep this time, but wondered if there are any "tricks" for keeping the color from washing out and/or fading. I have short, short hair.

Do you wash your hair at night or in the morning, like before you style it. Do you find that if you wash it and after its dryed to style it then rather than washing it the night before and styling the following morning. When i wash it the night before and when im styling it the following morning its not very flexible and no matter how much styling products i use it just flops.

Does anyone else find that washing it before styling is much better than washing the night before?
