Hair - November 2006

My hair is really really pooofy after shower so i strighten it.....but its poofy....what do i do? Does anybody know any good products that works wiht the hair straightener i can get at a drugstore?

I sweat heavily everyday and believe it is a must to shampoo once everyday. But my scalp is also dry? So what do you recommend?

My hair is colored and it just isnt as shiny or smooth as i would like. Ive tried shampoos and conditioners and hot oils so what else should I try. My sister has the same problem but her hair is real frizzy and dry. What can we use to get healthy shiny smooth hair?

My mom just got her hair cut short, and according to her, it grew very fast this time. Faster than normal. I said it was because she got it cut so much shorter the last time. Is that true?

ok i hav this flat iron and i paid alot of money for it and it doesnt work on my hair!!!!!!! let me explain i have strait hair but its poofy so i decided to buy a flat iron. I cant get it to look good. I used my friends flat iron and my hair looked sooooooooo good and not fried like when i do it w/ mine. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

I've shaved my pubic hair for years and I've had occasional bumps and ingrown hairs that went away in a few days. But one has turned into a big bump pretty much over night. I tried a hot compress and squeezing it. Puss is comming out of it. Does that happen with ingrown hairs? It hurts to squeeze it but I will if there is no other way. Please help me, it's so gross.

I got dirty blonde hair and I want to get my hair color like Jessica Simpson or Brook hogan but it seems like everytime i go to a beatuy salon they mess everything up.I hate the color of my hair because I have to wear my hair up for work and the color of my hair makes my face look dirty for some reason i dont know why.I think it's because I'm fair skin and dark hair doesn't look right with my face.So does anyone know where I could go to, to find a top salon that would really know what I want done with my hair. Like a salon where celebraties go to LOL. I live in Altoona PA.Or does anyone know what i could say to explain 2 the salon person so they would understand wat i want done?
Also I want to get my hair cut but I heard the saying that you need to go with a hair cut that matches the shape of your face.so Does anyone know where i could go on the internet and look at nice haircuts. I have shoulder length hair and I just want the front of my hair to look right with my face please help

Every time after i just finish shampooing my hair it feels very very dry and full of knots but i dont wash my hair to where it would get kots like that!! It gets all stuck togeatherand all weed feeling. I use sunslik shampoo but i dont think thats the cause bc every time i was my hair with any shampoo it happends and i brush my hair b4 i wash.. I dont know what the problem it pls help !! :(

I am a guy with medium length hair. I have not gotten it cut for like four months now and it just doesnt seems to grow. My hair is very thick and wavy. I would really like to have long straight hair. I have recently tried dying my hair blonde not knowning what i was goin to do and unfortunately it turned a tint of orange but isnt completly orange ( the longer parts of my hair are still light brownish ) and i really dont like it im not exactly sure i was hoping it would turn out like but i cannot go to school like this and i wanna just dye it to a darkbrown which i have done b4 so i know looks fine...... what should i do ??????

I always dye my hair. My hair was down to the middle of my back. After dying my hair for 6 years all different colors. I thought I would take a break. I also cut my hair very short last year, to help the red come out.I cut it a couple time since then to make sure I don't have deadends. My hair isn't growing at all. My hair should be longer then what it is by now. Do you think dying my hair again would help or what should I do???

I have very dry, wavy, bushy hair--I am not Black....I am Hispanic with light skin and dark brown hair. I don't blow-dry my hair, I don't use gel or hair spray or anything for my hair. I just wash it like 2 or 3 times a week with head & shoulders or pert plus!
There are sooooo many brands of shampoos out there and really don't know which to choose ???? I am really confused.
I want healthy, shiny, silky, smooth, straight, and full, lively hair. What is the best shampoo and conditioner for my hair type that will give me these results please---that really work?
Real answers please....I am having big, bad hair problems! :(
