Fashion & Accessories - February 2007

How I can improve my sense of style or make it a bit more sophisticated and still be myself? I'm an artist and I've mostly been dressing like the same hippie college chick for 20 years. I don't like minimalism and preppieness, even though my mom would think she died and went to heaven if she saw me like that. I wonder if there's a website that would be good for inspiration, or some actress who isn't a teeny bopper who could be a role model, or just any general advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

These are the New York Islanders Ice Girls. I was at the game last night and one of them was standing right in front of me with her back turned to me, so of course like any straight guy I looked. Again, i'm not a perv but I noticed that she didn't have a panty line. You can see their uniforms in this picture, do you think that its the type of pants that prevent panty lines or was she wearing a thong or no underwear at all.

that can order clothes online, or from catalogues? Or are you like me, and has to try on EVERY little thing? No 2 brands ever fit the same. and I wouldn't even DREAM of not trying on my pants.

I guess I have a "unique" figure... Small chest, tiny waist, big butt, small thighs... It's so hard. The only thing I'll order is jewelry and shoes. :)

I saw a pair of jeans tonight, it is really nice and I love it. They are having sales but after 20% discount, the price is about 530 USD, so finally I dropped it. I am still thinking about it now. Mother of the bride dress is 3/4 length, chocolate brown color with detailing on lower part of skirt and on front of jacket that is dark tan. Was wondering what shoes would look best with this dress.....plain brown or something that would bring more color into the dress?

ok, so my best friend's birthday is coming up and i really want to get some 7 jeans, she's always wanted a pair. I figure i'll get them off ebay. But, she's a little overweight, not that much, but she's very self conscious. I want to figure out her jean size so I can get the 7's for her, but i dont know a good way of asking without giving away her present. I thought about having a sleepover and sneaking and looking at the jeans but we cant have a sleepover till next weekend and that will b to late to order the jeans off ebay and they wont come in time for her birthday...Any body have any good ideas?

I have so many clothes that I would love to donate to charity but after going through my clothes, the thought starts creeping in like 'Maybe I need this one day' and ' This dress was a gift from my aunt,'.
