Fashion & Accessories - September 2006

I have six pieces of sterling silver jewelry from Tiffany's that aren't really my style. All together they cost about $1000. They are gently used but still in great condition and I still have the suede pouch, box, ribbon, and bag for each. I'd like to sell them but there are too many fakes on eBay to get a fair price. I've also tried Craigslist but people on there offer about $35 max for items that cost well over $100 each. Do I have any other options or am I stuck with this stuff?

I was cutting up boiled eggs earlier and when I was done noticed that the part of the ring that was touching the eggs was now a copper color. What can I do to remove this? I have tried fingernail polish remover and that didn't work....

Ok heres the deal...my boyfriend and my best friend and I are all going to 6flags on halloween, because this is the first year I ever get to go to Fright fest so I want to make it special. Well I want to wear a costume...we all do, but we need an idea....well I need an idea that is roller coaster friendly, because I cant wear any type of dress or baggy costume on the rides, but I want to look cute for the boyfriend at the same time....any ideas? Plus it could be somewhat cool around that time, so something that can be warm but also cool if it gets too hot

I was looking for a b'day present in the "tween girls" clothing dept for my cousin. I can't believe I saw bras in size 34B and 36B in the tween girls dept! There are even padded, underwire and strapless ones! They are totally like adult bras! I thought girls don't usually wear real bras till they are about 15? Aren't tween girls supposed to wear cartoon bras instead of adult-looking bras?

I applied for two positions at a local hospital as dietitian and a house-keeping aide. Do you think I can get away wearing jeans? I'm planning on wearing the jeans with a black dress shirt (button-down) and a pair of black heals (wedges), my hair will be worn in a bun with a side part. I'd have to wear scrubs for both positions (if hired). I think it'll be ok since neither of the positions are clerical. please help, I'm going nuts!!!!

Does anyone know where I can find matching outfits/dresses for my daughter and her American Girl doll? Her American Girl dolls are 18" and she also has a Bitty Baby.

American Girl does having matching outfits but my daughter is too big for the Bitty Baby outfits. And I don't really care for the dresses that are currently available.

Well I have been thinking about getting another piercing for a while now. Right now I have my left ear pierced, and was thinking about either getting my right ear pierced or getting the upper ear cartilage on my left ear pierced. Which do you guys think looks better / looks less gay on a guy.
