okay,
grunge was last year. vintage is this year.
hair is your own thing, side bangs are really in
camis are cute or long t-shirts, layering is still in
tight jeans or skinny jeans.
vintage dresses or summer dresses, things with patterns and/or polka dots
makeup is natural. maybe light eyeliner. ooo red lipstick seems to be a big hit
black nails. no chipped nail polish. bright red or dark red is in.

My humble opinion on this topic is as follows: wear what you like, what feels comfortable, and what makes you look good. If it's trendy or not trendy, who cares? :) Think for YOURSELF and don't let strangers or arbitrary fads tell you what is supposedly "right" or "wrong". People will respect you more that way. Seriously! I speak from experience. :)
