Dress up one of your classmates that everybody know of. Could be your teacher too but be careful that teacher is "game" and not mistaken it as a disrespect. That's unexpected and really funny. We had 4 guys at work who showed up with the same costume disguising to be one of our co-worker with long hair and long beard and always wearing T-shirt with his ID clipped on his shirt. Really funny but very effective.

Dress as a gorilla, then when you arrive say, just as arrogantly as you can, these words:

Some of the older teachers might figure out that you're copying the act from George Lincoln Rockwell. But they probably won't say anything.

Pick something from pop-culture and go with it...
Maybe dress up like/ make fun of some celebrity you cannot stand. (I'm thinking Fat Paris Hilton for myself...)
One year I dressed up like a goth (I am NOT gothic at all) and was recieved well by everybody.
Another popular one was to dress like you normally do, cut out arm and neck holes from a trash bag, and wear it. When people ask what you are, tell them you are Trailer Trash.

Just buy a box of Mentos and say "I'm the freshmaker!" and hold up the box of Mentos. This is good when you forget to buy a costume. XD
