If they do, then its just showing how weak minded they are. Things like that go on all over its not just limited to highschool. There always has to be a ****** or 2 in every crowd. Just try to avoid them and stick with your true friends. They will like you for who you are and not what you wear.

Unfortunately, a lot of people will judge by appearances instead of getting to know you first. Usually, it's not about how many clothes you have, but what your clothes look like. If you can look put-together, you shouldn't have any problems.
I used to have the very same problem, until I learned how to sew. There's a book at Barnes and Noble Bookstores, called "All You Need to Know About Sewing" or "Sewing for Dummies" that will totally help. You can even sign up for classes at your local art supplies stores, and they range in price from super-cheap to free! As soon as you figure out sewing, you can start making your own clothes. The best thing about doing this is you'll make them according to your own, individual style, and they will cost less than buying already-made clothes! They'll also be tailored to fit you, which is always a plus!
But in the meantime, if you don't have a lot of money to spend on a back-to-school wardrobe, just stay looking nice, and buy a shirt here and there, or a pair of jeans occasionally, and pretty soon, you'll have so many clothes, you won't know what to do with them all!

As long as you and your clothes are kept clean you should be fine. And if you need some inexpensive clothes, try the goodwill, salvation army, or some other used re-sale shop. You would be amazed at the great stuff you can find without paying the big prices charged for Brand new. Also, if you can manage to get a few extra shirts, most kids wouldn't know that you are wearing the same jeans more than one day a week. for all they know, you have 2 or 3 pairs that are identical.

I got made fun of in elementary and middle school because I was poor and did not have many clothes and what I had were 2nd hand clothes. But by high school the kids were a little nicer. Good Luck and don't let it get you down things change just remember that.

In highschool I had all hand me downs... I was poverty-stricken with a single parent that could only work part time. I had to learn to make clothes, which isn't hard at all (just a pair of scissors and tying clothes together). Now I'm a makeup artist and wardrobe stylist making my own clothes. You're going to go through some pretty rough times kiddo... but it gets better when you DO go through them!

No, in high school, theyre past the name calling. I think that you shouldnt wear the EXACT same thing once or twice a week, maybe you should mix and match outfits that you wore for the week and keep producing "new" outfits, it wont seem like you dont have a lot of clothes to wear.

Caring what other people think isn't going to do you or anyone else any good. All I can say is at least you have clothes at all. As far as highschool goes.... it only lasts 4 years and when it's over and done with all you have is yourself to live with... not all the others... so don't even worry about them. Highschool children need to realise that it isn't about the outside that counts... it's the inside.

Umm your friends might tease you a bit. Last year in 9th grade, i wore black shirts everyday or something. People thought that was the only clothes, it was but i didnt have too much either. I just love wearing black and well yeah just work with what you already have. If someone asks you if you have more clothes, be honest and say that you dont have a lot of clothes.

Unfortunately yes. Things never change in high school it seems. Just remember though, when you are on your own, you will be doing a LOT better than most of the retards who are making fun of you now!
Just smirk at them like you know something they don't-- because now you do..... :-)
