I'm a 29 year old white guy and was thinking of getting my ears pierced. My GF thinks it would suit me. I'm a little cautious about getting it done and am somewhat converned about what friends and people at work etc will think/say. I will probably get both ears pierced but don't know whether to get studs of hoops. Any thoughts/advice?

I just completed my junior year and anticipating all of the senior activities, such as prom. I looked at some of the senior dresses this year. I have a terrible memory, so every day I write down what I wore to work that day on a calendar. The purpose is so that I don't wear something right after I already wore it, because I won't remember.

My friend saw my calendar and said she does that too. Got me wondering if any other women do that? Or some other form of organization of your clothes?

Sincere Question. I am not talking about vintage clothes. I am referring to more modern clothes. I also understand it is all about the FIT, and not about the sizing system.

Some time ago, I learned from an Oprah show that some clothing companies deliberately changed pants/skirts sizes in order to entice customers to buy more cuz they see that they are a size "smaller than usual". e.g. They are really size 12, but this company says they are size 10 or 8 on some jeans/skirts. Since it is a Oprah show, I need to confirm it or dismiss as more hype on this Size Issue Obsession that many of us seem to have.

Are the companies perhaps doing that size change cuz there are more people who are not model-thin and companies are changing sizes deliberately just to draw more money....just by making the women feel better about their sizing---albeit using wrong size? If so, isn't that unethical?
