Personally I would look through my selection of shoes and try different ones on that I have narrowed it down to at least.
It somewhat depends on what color the shirt is. Heels or those sandal like thick heels would be great and those are really in style now. You can't go wrong with those. Regular sandals can look dressy in my opinion if they have those straps that bucked across the middle of the foot. Those are not inappropriate and they are comfortable. Cream, deep brown and black or that grayish color are neutral, so you could wear those with about any casual pants or shorts with a nice shirt. It really depends on what you mean by dressy and the color. Those shoes that I mentioned would be a nice choice or at least some ideas to think about. So I hope this helped you in some way. Whatever you choose will look nice I'm sure, b/c it sounds like you take pride in your appearance and style.

Wear something you feel comfortable in. If you are a flip flop girl then just buy some flip flops with style and a heel (yes they do sell flip flops with heels).
If you are going somewhere nice, you should wear a pointy toe heel, but just a small heel.
I personally do not care the weather is to hot for boots. That would be my first choice. Every time I wear a boot I feel I am in control and feel I can concur whatever the day brings me. Maybe I'm weird but I love the way a boot makes me feel.

Simple, black heels are great with jeans, and if you do "strappy" ones, they're as cool as sandals but the heel prevents it looking like a flip-flop. Or if you are going to be on your feet and don't want to be uncomfortable, find some brown or black leather loafers with a little bit of a heel that will be comfy to wear.

There are lots of nice heeled sandals that are dressy enough for such an outfit. Check out the selection at www.zappos.com They have a huge selection.

You know, those ballet flats that are in style look wonderful with fitted jeans! And the great thing about the flats, is that they are easy to walk in and come in such great styles and colors. Some even with rhinestones, they can really play up an outfit.

You should wear a simple shoe with not much of a heel, but make sure it matches your shirt, and just have it be simple no straps, and very little or no ornamentals, just keep it simple.

Why not a nice pair of sandals? There's tons of dressy ones out there.

Can't go wrong with black pointy shoe or stileto, may not be that comfy but looks great with jeans.

you can wear a more dressed up sandal, maybe with cute little jewels on it, or the new wedges they are making would look great! good luck!
