Wear a one piece bathing suit and look for ruching which is all the rage. A v-neck or wrap look is very flattering too. Go to a great store that provides excellent service and procust choices. Check plus size magazines and consider adding a sexy sarong or wrap around your waist like a skirt.

You start by taking care of yourself all the time, not just before swimsuit season. This way, you will be comfortable in a swimsuit. Confidence is really the name of the game.

Well, if there was a way to do that, we would all look great on the beach in our bikini! As someone who wouldn't be caught dead in a bikini because I am too fat, I think you should just try to find a suit that you feel the best in. Remember that everyone has flaws, so use your best assets to your advantage and try not to worry about the rest. Self confidence will sometimes make you look much better than a flat tummy will. Your self image tends to influence people greatly. I am sure that you are lovely and are worrying for nothing, just be yourself and let your own beauty shine, the rest will take care of itself. Good luck!

Are you really fat or just overly critical of yourself? Nothing more annoying than a hearing a size 6 say crap like that.....
If you are truly fat, you must realize that you look fat in everything you wear, so get over it and go have fun at the shore or pool. Why do you care what people who don't know you think???

It really depends on where you are "fat" at. If you are fat all over try a one peice with a cover up or a pair of shorts.
If you have a tummy prob a tankini provides sexy coverage, hiding your belly but baring legs and cleavage.
IF you have big breasts, a halter tie cinched tightly at the neck gives an ample chest a flattering lift
If you have a big booty (and don't like it) A dark, full-cut brief minimizes a generous booty; a daring print keeps it sexy.
Hope this helps!

Size doesn't matter, because you are who you are and that's just the way you have to accept it. Don't try to change the way you look just for the sake of vanity - that is, only do what's right for your health. Darker colours, one-piece swimsuits, and certain designs will generally make you look skinnier.
