No it won't, unless it's been recently dyed red. I usually don't separate my white laundry from my colored laundry and if you wash with cold water instead of hot or warm it doesn't matter.

Depending on fabric and quality of die, the odds are at best light pink, and worse pink streaked.
If you want your little white shirt to turn red, you need to buy some dye.
If you are just needing to save on the laundry, there is a product at the store called 'Color Catcher'. They are little sheets that look a lot like dryer sheets, but will catch all of the dye.
I can't make any promises, but I've used them for years, and they have saved my rear more than once. I also did a fun test with them... some old white cotton sheets with a brand new black t-shirt. This should have been a worse case scenario... but when I opened the washer, the sheets were white, and the shirt was black!
Needless to say I think any household where husbands or kids do laundry should just buy them in bulk. LOL
Happy washing!

If you wash it with a red shirt then it will turn pink because the red dye in the one shirt will mix with the white in the other shirt and when you mix red and white together you get pink.

well you definitely don't want to wash it with a red shirt, you want to wash the white clothes separate from the colored clothes. The white shirt will turn pink and the red shirt will too.

Yes some fabric dyes can cause other clothes to change colour. A red one would make a white shirt light red or pinkish

Well, it depends on how old the red shirt is and how many times it's been washed. Colors stop bleeding after so many washings.

It will go pink if you wash it in warm or hot water.
I've had some red and white shirts that have not bled when I washed them in cold, but I hang them to dry.
Putting them in the dryer can have the same pinkish effect.

Might not turn red but blotches of pink, or nothing will happen if you wash it with Cold Water.

No, but it will probably turn pink. Don't try it unless you really don't care too much about the white shirt.
