Beauty & Style - 17 August 2007

Ever since I could remember when I try to grow my hair longer (past shoulder length) I will get a hand full (atleast 15-20) of hair strands. At one point I thought I wasn't drinking enough milk but increase of milk showed no differences. I've tested this by cutting my hair short (a little below my chin) and I only had the usual 1-5 strands come out. I shower every day using Brilliant Brunette and only 50% of the times do I use a blow dryer because thats what I thought was causing it. Ironically, it seems to improve slightly the morning after I blowdry. Why is this happening? And what can I do to help it since I want to continue to grow my hair longer????

For clothing, I'm not sure if what I have is enough. I've always had uniform, so I never really had to worry if I had enough clothing for school or not. Can someone make me a somewhat detailed list of how many tops, sweaters, tanks, jeans, and other clothing items I might need to make it for the first month or so? Or even how much I should spend?

if you were at a pool party with about 300 other people, which outfit do you think would look best on a girl:

1. blue backless shirt that's slightly low cut and shows the tummy with a black miniskirt (too slutty?)
2. blue tank top with hoodie and a jean mini skirt (slutty?)
3. blue t shirt with hoodie with jeans and sneakers (too warm?)
I can't decide what to wear...what do you think would look most apealing on me? odd question, I know. but my friends all said to wear a bikini top and mini skirt and that's too revealing.

properly? I just got a CHI a few weeks ago, and i want to use it for to straighten my hair alot for school. I practiced straightening my hair a couple times and i did a really bad job. I dont know how to do it properly. I'm new to straightening. And also i got the chi protecting spray and i spray it on my hair and it makes it look really greasy, what am i doing wrong? and what shampoo and conditioner should i use to keep my hair healthy?

I have a round face and dirty blonde hair with highlits around medium length (past my shouder) i want to wear my hair down more but i have a side part so (i have straight har) when i waer it down it always is in my way so i have to tuck behind oine ear which can get nnoying!!! well, anyway i want to get liike maybe side bangs but i have gotten them in the past (many years ago) and hated them and don't want to make the same mistake. help???
