I am considering using this straightener on my very unruly curly hair - anyone have experience with this = it says it lasts only 3 months - what happens after the 3rd month? Thanks - good results or bad?

Do you lotion your entire body? or do you skip a day or 2 of lotioning? Just asking because I recently read a book that says excessive lotioning could be harmful and even poisonous (clogging up pores) to your body.
