1. I shop at thrift stores on occasion but not regularly.
2. I buy clothes, bags, belts and jewelry that are clean, looks new, and catches my eye.
3. I will not buy underwear or shoes.
4. Thrift stores are an excellent way to save huge bucks and still look nice! I don't shop at thrift stores that smell dirty (some do) or ones that have clothes so piled up you have to dig. I do not have a limited budget and yet I still enjoy a bargain. Nothing makes my day more than buying a new outfit that is stylish and looks new, along with a nice bag to match and a piece of jewelry and still only spending ten bucks or less. I can then use my money to enjoy a nice lunch on the town or something else! Last but not least, by shopping at thrift stores we are often helping those in need and I like helping those in need.
5. My favorite thrift stores are Goodwill and Salvation Army. These two stores can be found in all cities throughout the USA.
6. I have never worked in a thrift shop before.
7. Last but not least I have found thrift stores to be an excellent place to shop for highly collectible things such as dishes and other old things that are very expensive at antique shops!
Good luck with your school project!

1. Maybe 6 times a year...I don't really buy clothes for myself very often.
2. I always go to buy shirts that are comfortable and cheap to wear to work...in my line of work, I don't want to wear really good clothing because I might get bleach or something on it.
3. I wouldn't buy panties but I have bought swimsuits...I wash everything well before I wear it anyway.
4. I like the prices and the vast variety of clothing. It's fun to hunt for new treasures...my daughter has a lot of fun doing that.
5. The one we go to most is Jinglers...New Brunswick Canada
6. No I have not worked in a thrift store.

1.Almost every other day. It really depends on when I have time and if I have money.
2.This is not something you can really ask, because the thing about thrift stores is that, you never know what you’re going to find. You have to have patience and sort through a bunch of junk, to find some treasure. I buy anything that I like or that really appeals to me and my wallet. I buy anything from bags, shoes and jewelry to jeans, skirts and shirts.
3.Stained and/or tacky clothes. Way overpriced items. Yeah, bet you never though something in a thrift store could be overpriced, but it can. And I usually refrain from buying hats in a thrift store, I highly adivse this to everyone, because you never know how sanitized the hat is. Underwear. I have yet to find underwear in a thrift store, but I just thought I’d put that one out there.
4.I love thrift stores. It’s fun to sort through things with friends and dare each other to try on some of the more hideous articles of clothing in there. Plus, as corny and lame this is going to sound, you really do get a rush and a certain high when you find something you really like, that is in perfect condition, fits you and within your price range. It’s just really fun. The only thing that I don’t like about it, sometimes the stores have a funky smell to them. If you have ever been in one, I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. It’s like an old smell to it, and it makes me sneeze.
5.Aardvarks is a pretty big chain of thrift stores. Moon Zoom is very fun, my favorites are the 80’s clothes and second hand wedding dresses from as far back as the 70’s. Crossroads is another amazing second hand shop. They only carry nice brand names and designer clothes such as Sevens, True Religion and I’ve even seen some Prada. I live in California so we have slews of second hand shops everywhere. I live in the Bay Area and my favorite place for thrift shops is definitely San Francisco, but not in the tourist section. You have to delve deep and go where the natives go.
6.Not yet, but I plan to this summer at Crossroads.
Hope this helped you. And have fun with your project, it's very unique and fun.

I love thrift stores! I go about 2 times a week, and get clothing for the kids (they grow out of them so fast) It is a great place to go for books, music and video games too. They carry all kinds of unusual things at cheap prices and most of them give all the proceeds to charity, so you can feel good about what you are buying, because you know it is helping someone in need. I also donate regularly to them. The only things I won't buy there are personal items like bras and underwear, I also wont' buy shoes, a little too close for comfort. I usually go to the Ohio Thrift, Salvation Army in Columbus Ohio.

I shop at thrift stores all the time
I buy much of my clothes at thrift stores or yard sales. I buy shirts, pants, coats, sweaters etc.
I will not usually buy shoes unless they are new, I never buy underwear.
I like thrift stores a great deal; see no point in spending the money new clothes cost and can usually find good clothes there. If I need a specific item, NOW, I go to regular clothing stores as you can never tell what you will find at thrift stores.
I shop at salvation army and good will stores as well as independent stores in various areas.
I live in Mi and Me and shop all over.
I have never worked at a thrift store.

I shop at thrift stores frequently. It's like a tag sale anyday of the week. I look at everything, you never know what you may find. I won't by things that smell like moth balls. It's the thrill of the hunt and the bargain. I go to the Goodwill & Salvation Army Stores. Co-signment shops are also good.

I used to shop there a lot, might go there today. Store is called ,Savers in Littleton,CO.. I buy sporting jerseys, and shirts mostly.
I will not buy linens for bed there.
I have bought lamps,a nightstand, nice ones too, brass and furniture that would have cost me much more in a retail store.
I also search for antiques in the store since much of the items are donated after a death in someone's family.
I have found some good treasures in a thrift store.
Thanks for asking .

1) about once every couple of months
2) cute unique shirts, purses
3)Electronics & pants, but thats because the ones around me don't have fitting rooms, & anytime I bought something I thought would fit, it never did
4) I like that the prices are cheep & you can find stuff noone else has. I don't like that I can't really try stuff on. I also don't like that alot of its old lady looking & I also don't like that alot of them don't put the clothes where they belong for sizes ( a 16 in litle kids is completly differnt then a 16 in grown-ups!!! grown ups have curves!!)
5) Village Discount Outlet (V.D.O. for short) The one in Akron, Ohio is better then the one in Canton, Ohio
6) No. Around here, they only hire you if you know someone, or the V.D.O. hires alot of people that don't even know how to speak english!!!
