Look for a high-end resale shop - you'll find clothes the really rich ladies wore, maybe once, and donated for their Junior League requirements, or just got tired of. In LA you can find hollywood stars' clothes in them! And they're considerably cheaper than buying new!

Try looking in a magazine called REAL it costs a quid and is out once a fortnight they give you great ideas of where to buy things and for whatever budget. I love it and it is not full of trash like the Heat mags!
I noticed that New Look had some nice stuff in and so did Matalan and TK Maxx. If not try a local hire shop they often hire out from as little as 25 quid.

Depends on your age and size and where you live. Debenhams have various named outlets in the big stores. Or try Miss Selfridge, other than that there are a few shops that sell second hand clothes donated by the rich and famous and their prices can be really rock bottom. A few of these in London.

Sunday Upmarket on Brick Lane in London. Looks horrid from outside but great inside - really individual stuff! Good luck!

TKMax if you are in the UK or TJMax if you are in the USA. They have designers clothes (outlet) for a fraction of the price. Try any other outlets. Other option is eBay, I have found very nice things there. Good luck!

Look at Asda, Tesco's, Sainsbury's, Primark, TK Maxx, Matalan. You're bound to find something you like for pennies in one of these stores.
