maybe one person should just start it and you see a lot of people follow suit. no laws says they can't wear it but i think it will look horrible and indecent.

Depends on where you live. If you live in a funky worldly kind of town, you'll be fine and everyone will accept it or at least ignore it. If you live in a conservative kind of place such as Smalltown, America, be aware that people will ask if your nose is bleeding or will just stare and nudge each other. Most people won't mean anything by it, they're just curious or ignorant. Of course if it is me asking, I might try to chase you down with a wad of Kleenex. Nothing personal, just trying to clean that red booger off your nose.

They can but sometimes, it matters to follow what is acceptable to majority of people. But if this does not matter to you, then go ahead :)
