what color low lights or high lights should I get?

I look pretty much like my avatar. I am brown and I have dark brown hair and long bangs. But I do not know what color high lights or low lights to get. I dont know if to get red high lights or honey brown high lights or low lights. Or if to try other colors so please help me find a color this is my first time getting high lights or low lights. why is it?

why do most popular people think that shopping at walmart is wrong?people at my school get picked on for shopping at walmart!they say it's cheap!not everyone can shop at the mall!people at my school think that people that shop at wal mart are poor because they dont get their close from the mall!!!wut is wrong with walmart???p.s.i didnt know wut category to put this in so i just chose one :)

I go to college everyday wearing an ultra thin line of liquid black eyeliner... mascara .. kohol to line my eyes with ... a neutral or pink colored lip gloss ... a v bit of blusher.... i get a lot of compliments from other but my friends keep telling me i wear too much makeup ...
